Well tilly has made her den under the bed no grate and never has been so this is where she takes everything! she guards every morsel toliet paper roll bones and she defends this den of hers just maybe your baby has made a den under your bed? tillys den is off limits to me or anyone that wants to clean who knows what is there she will show her teeth! whe i lift up the blankets to even have a look. So I respect her space but when she goes outside to poo & pee I kind of check just for the safety. good luck they will appear and you might just have to put your collectables out of reach kind of baby proofing.
