This is more of a "thank you" thread, but a thank you thread with pictures......for pictures!
YT member linda44 (and her yorkie Gidget) had my Lucky's name for the February YT gift exchange. Lucky & I received a multitude of a variety of gifts from Linda & Gidget, among them (& my personal favorite) a drawing of Lucky
done by Linda's husband. I mean seriously, that picture alone (it was matted and framed, BTW) could have been the gift exchange gift by itself! I was so
WOW'd by it! It is such an exact likeness of Lucky & I can only imagine the amount of time he took to sketch it.
Of course I thanked Linda, Gidget, and her husband for the many GE gifts and especially for the drawing. Who could ask for more, right? Well, I promise you I didn't ask, or even expect, as much as they gave in the exchange, much less
ANOTHER drawing!!!!! After I sent Linda a thank you PM, she replied & asked me to send her a photo of Toby to "put on my husband's desk for when he gets bored", as she put it.
I ended up sending a few pics so that he could choose which would be best to use, which included a couple of them that included Lucky and/or Halle. Lo and behold, a few weeks later I get this in the mail
, a drawing of not just Toby, but Toby and Halle together.......my little yorkie "couple"! Again I am
WOW'd........the drawing looks just like them and he even captured Toby's "smile" that I often see in his photographs.
Thank you again Linda..........your husband's talent and your generousity is greatly appreciated and these drawings will be displayed proudly and enjoyed for years to come.
