A cornea ulceration is a scratch on the cornea. I hope I didn't scare you, it was more than just red veins, more like lots of red veins, and it looked different from the other eye. The vet didn't know what caused it. I was growing out the nose bridge hair to meet the topknot hair, and I sprayed some hair spray on a small toothbrush, and used this to smooth the hairs on the forehead. Some of the hairs may have come down, and with the hairspray on them may have irritated the eye. The vet said that some dogs get it by rubbing their faces on the carpet too hard, and even some scratch the cornea with their paws. If this affects both eyes, I would think allergies are more the likely answer.
