I had received an e-mail from Marie this morning, asking if we could get him in on Monday or Tuesday, but my Vet only works 3 days a week, and Thursday is his only "patient" day, the other two he does surgery.
My Vet had wanted to see him next Thursday, but Marie has had a serious family emergency arise, so I am just waiting to find out if she will be able to bring him out. Or if she needs to delay it a week. Or, if she wants to go another route.
Thank you for your prayers, they are greatly appreciated. Believe me, I am not awesome. It's just that after 35 years of raising orphaned wildlife babies, I care very deeply about Special Needs Babies and this little guy needs a permanent home where he can recover and know that even if he doesn't get any better than he is right now, he is loved & pampered. Our home is quiet and I think he would be happy here.
He is such a young baby, and I feel he deserves a chance to have a full life.
