How smart these little dogs are! When we get up in the mornings I put the gate up to the hall -- this gate stays up all day so he can't get to the bedrooms. We go down to the kitchen and get my coffee and his food and come back up to the well Alex will go stand at the gate a wimpier then he runs to me grabs my pants leg and pules me I stand up and walk to the gate and he barks at me to be picked up (When he wants to be picked up he will sit at your feet and bark he knows not to jump we taught him not to jump up are he will not be picked up)-- He know the kids are back there sleeping and he wants to go get them up. He does this ever morning. We have a schedule and he all ready know it! (I home school the kids so we try and stay on schedule) When it's time to go get them up he goes to the gate and barks not wimpier and when it is time for bed he does the same thing. He is the smartest little thing. What smart things does your yorkie do?
