After reading a thread in another section, it made me wonder
. what is the importance of registering your puppies? my puppy is akc registered or at least in the paperwork from the breeder there are papers in there but it looks like i have to fill out something and pay a fee. unless i dont understand the paperwork. i dont plan to show him b/c he's to big almost 9 pounds and i've already had him neutered. besides i bought him to be my sidekick which is does soooooo well. would registering be in my best interest? here what i would like to know about the subject.
1. who registers the puppy you or the breeder
2. what does it mean to have papers? (meaning what are they used for ?)
3. how does papers affect prices?
4. whats the backlash for not registering
