My little Maddie is almost 2 years old. She has been a VERY active puppy until recently. When I'm away from the house she sleeps the majority of the time and if I relax in the evening after work she will relax with me. This is a recent ocurrance. Before this behavior started, it was expected that I would come home from work and we would immediately go on a walk or run. Now she seems content laying on my lap, stretching and occasionally chewing on a toy (in my lap) ALL evening. Is this a normal transition in age?
