Also, I forgot to include that because I constantly gave her her toy, I think it helped her understand at a young age that this was the appropriate thing to chew on. She's almost two years old now and only uses her toys as chewing objects. Something else I also used at a young age was "sour apple" spray. I bought it at Petco. If she would start to chew on furniture (or even my hands) I would give it a quick spritz and she would leave it alone. Hope this helps! |
