Well we've tried all of those except the Merrcks. We first tried Blue Buffalo and it made my girl extremely ill and we switched within days of getting it. We then switched to Natural Balance (fish and potato) which I didn't like the smell so a few months later we switched to Solid Gold wee bits which she LOVED. We then thought she had food allergies and switched to Wellness Core Ocean (doesnt smell good) and she ate it but didn't gobble it up like the Solid Gold. We are now switching her to TOTW because I always catch her eating out of brothers bowl before she eats her Wellness (he gets TOTW) so I know she likes it. I think eventually well mix the Solid Gold and TOTW because she loves both. It took a long time to find a food we both could agree on and took forever because she has such a sensitive stomach we have to change her food over a 3 week time span. I didn't think the Solid Gold was that expensive compared to Wellness or Natural Balance.. maybe its just my area though.
