AKC papers don't guarantee anything of quality...they only prove it purebred. even puppymills sell AKC registered dogs. |
ITA with this...i prefer not to say what i paid for any of my kids but i would rather spend $2000+ for a heathly, well bred dog from a reputable show breeder than $700 from someone who knows nothing about the dogs they are breeding

in the long run, i think the more expensive, responsibly bred dog will end up costing less
