That being said, neutering is really the way to go if you don't plan to breed your dog. They don't need their balls, and they are much easier to get along with. I'm sure other posters will be along to give more details on the benefits of neutering and the cons of not doing so.

I'm sure a breeder could tell you how a males personality changes after he has been used to stud. Then you can decide if you really want to go that route otherwise neutering him would probably be your best option.
As an alternative you could get him a blow up sheep. At adult toy store?
