Default Vommiting

My 2 year old yorkie began vommiting 2 days ago. The first time he vommited was quite a bit, and contained a lot of undigested food. He proceeded to throw up overnight, and the next day as well. We took him to the vet where he had a full body xray which showed no major abnormalities, and also labs, and liver enzyme testing(still waiting on results for these). The vet told us to refrain from feeding him for 24hrs. His fluid intake is a little diminished( in 24hrs he drank about half what he would normally.)

Today i left him alone for 4hrs during which time he puked 5 times (this time the vommit was yellow and semi-formed).

Also a note, along with the vommit he has dark colored stools along with regular and gellatenous looking diarrhea.

When this first started he seemed fatigued, but now after 2 days of this he appears active, barking, and all around normal.

Anyone experience this before??
