Personally, I wouldn't leave Dixie alone for that length of time. Thats why I made a suggestion to have someone pop in and let the dog out.

Some rules are just meant to be broken
I wouldn't sneak my dog into a hotel that doesn't allow animals (just because I wouldn't want to get booted out in the middle of the night). I am far more concerned about hotel stayers that are using illegal drugs and doing illegal activities in hotel rooms. There are much worse things that you can do in a hotel room then sneak your pet in.
