Ginger is two and has always hated bows, clips, and bands in her hair. I usually fix it several times a day. My in-laws says its cruel to do that to her since she's always scratching and pawing at it. She does do that, but when it's tied up good, she stops. I think she looks much better with her hair up vs. cutting her hair off. Am I being shallow and cruel because I want my baby to look adorable?

My husband told me that they threatened to cut off her knot when we go on vacation in May. I told him that they could if he wants a divorce too! She's my dog and I can tell if she's suffering and she seems quite happy to me. Any thoughts?
