Don't forget to take water, a garbage bag, and some paper towels on your trip. Babies get carsick easily, and or will potty, so you may need to clean up. And the water is also for drinking.

Blankets? towels? Leash? Crate/carrier?

I'd also get some of the cleaner they sell at pet stores to neutralize pet odors, in case he goes on a carpet or rug.

I think it's also a good idea to always have nutri-cal on hand. Just in case.
