Jackson has had 3 sets of the distemper (DHPP - got DHLPP during the 2nd set but had reaction, so never again) My vet wanted me to schedule him for his 4th distemper puppy shot, but I really do not want to give him another "booster." I think he's had enough. Is it OK to just to the 3 sets? He got them at 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks. |
8, 12 and 16 weeks is a common schedule.
I wouldn't do anymore but of course either way, sometimes vaccines don't work and he could still be unprotected whether he gets another set or not.
