I imagine that the best option for a puppy is their mothers milk, it is exactly what they would need as long as you can get enough from her to always fill up your puppy. I think I would resort to supplementing goats milk when there isn't enough access to mother's milk. I have a bunch frozen in case I ever have a problem, (I used to raise dairy goats) The nutri-drops are supposed to give very quick energy to animals that need it, which would boost their energy when they need to feed etc.
I am pretty much a novice at raising puppies, so maybe another more experienced person will have better info for you. Good luck with everything.
