This was probably just an isolated incident. My vet has always stressed the importance of following Nutri-cal with food (the honey would have served the same purpose as Nutri-cal). The reason being the Nutri-cal/honey raises the blood sugar level quickly but is short in duration. If you don't follow with a slower burning food source (a few bites of regular food, bread, potato, etc) their blood sugar level will fall rapidly in about 20 minutes causing a second crash.
I would definately set the alarm and check on her every few hours tonight and watch her closesly tomorrow. If you have more incidents then a trip to the vet is in her near future
