[QUOTE=mariey223;2516276]my boyfriend booked a hotel for us to stay at next weekend and he didn't think to make sure that it was pet friendly! i have no one to babysit her and i'm not sure if i should leave her alone overnight. i never lock her in a cage or kennel she usually has free roam of the house. i leave her food and water out 24/7 since she doesnt really have a feeding schedule. what should i do?!?!!?[/QUOTE
Our Yorkie is a rescue and freaks out just seeing a kennel and cage so that is out of the question. We sneak her in with us on road trips. We got caught in a snow storm once and didn't make it home one night and she had peed on the new carpet and was VERY mad at us. A couple weekends ago we were away over night and one of our kids came to let her out a few times and she was just fine. We left the tv on for her as loud sounds, even just pops or creaks in the house can make her jump. The tv helps cover those sounds and we give treats she only gets if she's going to stay home alone. She has only been home alone twice, we usually take her with us.
