Have you read about marking? It's different than peeing, and usually it's a small amount maybe the size of a tablespoon, but it varies. Male dogs start marking sometimes after 6 months, and that's why many of us neuter around the age of 6-7 months. Baby teeth can be pulled at this time as well. If he is marking and you plan on neutering, I would call about an appointment right away. Male dogs who are neutered are much less likely to run away. Death from injures incurred in a car accidents is the number one cause of death in unneutered male dogs. If you wait too long to have him neutered, too much testosterone will enter his system, and he will likely mark all his life. No training has been found effective for eliminating marking, it's too wired into the dogs brain, and they can't help themselves. Belly bands with a pad inside are what most breeders use to protect the house.
