The whole process took about an hr and i brought his water bowl so he culd drink water while he was there. She didnt do everything that she would do to an adult dog bc it was his first time and she didnt want to stress him out too much (like plucking the hair inside his ears) but all in all it was a good experience and prince looked 100% better. He was all sticky and his fur was messy lol

oh yea and after his grooming i gave him a little nutracal and he napped alot wen we got home
When I get a new puppy in for grooming, I put him in an x-pen and get in with the pup. We play and give treats, I want the pup to get to know me. First time pups I take about 2 1/2 to 3 hours....just because I take them off the table to potty and play, their attention span is so short and you can't expect them to be still. If I have a difficult pup I usually have an extra pair of hands to help, soothing and cooing to the pup all through the process, that along with treats.

I never cage dry pups or any other dog for that matter, they are dried and brushed out in my arms, at no time are they kenneled. I have an x-pen available, if I'm momentarily called away.
