Nope ... this kind of thing in a pup is never good
There are two things that are going on
Your puppy is picking up on the dynamic in your family and is placing itself dominant over your daughter
the other is that when your daughter runs away from your pup she is eliciting a chase reponse from your puppy
when dogs see things running away ... they are more apt to chase and nip
what you need to do is first tell your daughter to stop running away from your pup ... when it nips
It's a firm No!
She must stand her ground
Then to fix the dominance situation have your daughter be the one to feed the pup
and train your daughter the ins and outs of training about mouthing
