What have you grown in containers? And how did they do?

Im going to try to grow some cherry tomatoes in some big white plastic buckets this year. I got them for free and want to use them. How can I dress up these buckets or make them look nicer. Several buckets in a row could end up looking a little trashy. They will be in my sunny side yard near the side of the house.
