I also free feed Snick in the evenings but his poops have been so far off lately that I had to stop. When I had him on scheduled feedings, he pooped at the same time everyday. Since I started free feeding a few weeks back, his poops are unpredictable and it drives me nuts. Yesterday I gave him his morning meal (at little) and then his afternoon snack-banana, and then his evening mean from 530-7 and thats it. I did mix his evening dry kibble with some canned and her scarfed it right down. This morning when I went to feed him, scarfed it down again. I think with the late evening feedings, he eats less in the morning. Tonight I am not gonna mix in his wet and just let him eat dry. Hopefully I can get predictable poops again. Seems he always has to go when we are NOT home....and will poop on his pad or crate...ew. He is also suffering from Sep Anx which makes it hard for him to hold it till lunchtime.
