Default breeding

Regional club membership does not mean you must breed or show. It is a club by club decision. Few people are allowed to join the National club if they do not show, but there are exceptions to every rule.
Our Maryland club had one or two non-breeders members..the Gold Coast club here in Florida is mostly all non-breeders..so it varies by state.

Perhaps, the Yorkshire Terrier CLub of America has let up on the rules and regs as to showing as a must???? Times change.

I did not know the YTCA allowed Biewer breeders. Most are very anti non-standard color breeding...but again perhaps things are changing.

I agree, look for a mentor within the club. If you want to join it would be best to get an approved mentor.
