Hello Everyone!!

I'm so very frustrated and upset that my 2 Yr old (May 16th is her b-day)Yorkie may have a liver disease. After 2 Yrs of she'll grow out of this talk from a former Vet nothing has changed. I recently moved and found a new Vet. This vet took the time to hear me out instead of dismissing me like some parnoid pet lover. Why do vets get frustrated when you tell them your findings??

My new vet simply took a blood & urine test and discovered something wasn't right. I went in telling the Dr. I believe my dog has a liver shunt because of a thread on this very site & he listened.

I've never had a dog before and had no idea that I would feel this way. She is my heart. Dogs are not just a man's best friend. She is the sweetest thing in the world, I don't regret getting her, although her illness has become frustrating and expensive. I will gladly work the overtime to pay for her happiness and health.

Does anyone know anything about Milk Thistle?? I found this on another site. It's suppose to be a herbal medication for liver cleansing on dogs.

Sorry that this all over the place but I guess these are my emotions right now, just all over the place.
