While we were waiting for Puddin' I got busy on my sewing machine making up pads and blankets and such. I bought a large bright pink fleece throw, cut it into four pieces and stitched the edges to keep it from becoming misshapen in the wash.
Puddin' has been with us almost 5 weeks now, and she seems to have become addicted to these pink blankies! She won't go to sleep at night without one...she doesn't necessarily sleep under one, she just seems to want to put her face on it.
Lately she has taken to sleeping on the pillows at the head of my bed and she is rambunctious and active until I put one of the pink blankies up there and then she settles down and snuggles her face into it and then drops off. She also wants the blankie during the day for lounging or snoozing.
Is she just a strange little dog, or is this a common behaviour?
