My daughter is allergic to most cats and dogs and we got the yorkies because people are not suppose to have allergic reactions to them. While she can pet them and hold them more often than other dogs she still has some allergic reasons to them. She is in college and works PT so she isn't home too often so it hasn't been a big deal
