Max is 6.5 pds and eats about 1/2 or so a day of EVO & Wellness Small Breed Mixed 50/50. Somedays he eats more and somedays less.
He is not to skinny and not fat.
I free feed so I hope he would eat if he wants to. Seems to be working. Vet says his weight is just right.
He also gets a couple little biscuits and a Yammy (Sam's Yam or Bichon fry or 2) everyday
