I got my male for $260 from a really good breeder in a small town in Oklahoma. In Oklahoma prices usually range from $300-$600 with $600 being on the high end. Hearing $2000 shocks me! The breeder I bought from, her father is a vet (I found out later that my dad knows him) and he came with papers, a small bag of dog food, books... basically a whole puppy kit. So yea, I guess I got a really good deal.
