I would think that if their "potty" area that you've taken them to is the same material as where they run they probably just don't differentiate between these places.

You could maybe fence in an area that's a potty place only and train them to go only to that area it could help.

You could be out there with them and if you see them trying to go on it, correct them. Or block off the furniture if possible.
Spot for them to go on is grassy area, but they're going all over my concrete and brick area. Yeah, they are always watched when we take them to back to potty and they do fine then, but it's when they're playing by themselves that they go everywhere.

I'll be on vacation in few weeks so I have time to work with them. I'll try fencing area
