Part of the issue is that my grand daughter has been feeding him as well over the last year, but we now have that under control. I have thought about taking him 'swimming' in the bath tub to see if I can get him additional exercise on a daily basis other than playing. It will be nice this weekend and I can walk him again, but these winters are just not doing his tubby butt well. Any suggestions??? I was looking at a check up report card I found from 2004 and he was 5.5# and marked between normal and overweight. I weighted myself and then again with him about a month ago and he's almost 10# OMG!!! I know it's harder to take off than to put on, I am open to ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!
OMG LOL...I just made a fatty thread in the discussion section...lol...leet me know your thoughts on mine. I will read yours now...

I was suggested by a few to start on adult food. With summer now I think my baby is loving the outdoors. He was only inside as he was too small to let out in the winter. Now he loves to run in the backyard and play with the other doggies. He is a tubby so he runs a little slower. I'm going to try the adult food but still have 1/2 a bad of food to go so that won't be for another while.

Let me know if you also get any other good suggestions.
