They buy pups from large volume commercial breeders and from backwoods/puppymill breeders.
These pups windup in Pet Stores all over the US and in other countries.
If the pet store refuses to take pups because of sickness etc..
Those pups are sold in Flea markets / Auctions.
Pups are graded on a scale, such as registration, size ..etc.
A pup with AKC registration net more then one registered ACA,APRI.CKC..etc.
They are backed and funded by the USDA and backed by all registries including AKC.
They also educate these breeders on how to pump out more pups to sale.
This is why it's so important not to buy from a Pet Store, this cycle will not be broken until people stop or the law changes.
If people would stop supporting and buying from Pet Stores that sale animals then there will no longer be a market for these Large Commercial /Mill breeders. |
