I wouldn't let them dig on leather furniture... but Ive never had my dogs ruin fabric furniture. My leather ottoman has seen better days due to them walking on it. I don't let them get on it, but sometimes they will go from the couch to the door and the ottoman is in the way so they will run across and jump off the ottoman putting claw marks in it!
