my dad has a beagle and he is very 'vocal'
which I think is quite typical of the breed. I like cavaliers as someone else suggested - my mum has two and they are great dogs - although they do leave a lot of hair. I've no personal experience of Schnauzers or Dachsunds, but they certainly look cute! Or how about another yorkie?
