We are miltary and live in Japan..
I did not bring a pet over when we came here 4 years ago,as I bought Bella just 2 months ago, but many friends have and it is a very long process to bring them here, and it is very expensive for all the shots and tests that they need before coming here.
We are going on vacation back to the states the summer for a month, and I was thinking I was going to be able to take Bella with me, but I cant. It's easy to take them to the states, just a health check 10 days prior to leaving and up to date on shots, but was told by the vet I wouldnt be able to bring her back into the country....
Now that I think about it, I wouldnt want to put her through the 13 hour flight
...its tough on us, let alone being caged up with no food,water and no potty breaks for 13 hours.
