I think you should call the breeder and let her know whats going on with the puppy, she needs to know so she will not be breeding the pair again. I don't know how she will handle it, I would give you the money back for the pup and let you keep it, and help as much as I could. I bought a yorkie years ago before YT was even online, so I didn't know any better, and yes she was a byb, lucky I had the best care for Liver shunt, Dr. Tobias, it cost me around 4000 after all was said and done, about 6 years ago, but he didn't make it, it was worse than we thought, I contacted the breeder and she was like what do you think I should do, needless to say I will not repeat what I told her, I found out after the fact 3 more had Liver shunt from her lines, bottom line she didn't care, she is still breeding and with a 1 year guarantee, which is very sad. I hope you get the breeder to help you out.
