I can understand the attending part but not if they are buying dogs just to add to a rescue and make a profit. Many rescues do attend auctions but they attend to get the sick needy dogs out and they never pay an amount that will allow the miller to make money. I've been finding so many on Petfinder calling themselves rescues when they are nothing more then puppy brokers. Again, I'd like to urge people that see this to please contact petfinder and let them know what you found. They did recently boot off Izban Collie Rescue for doing this. They had been buying pups from a known miller via an online auction. They even had the nerve to use the miller's pictures from the auction and post them as their own on petfinder.
