Quicksilver, maybe instead of officially restarting the count, you can kinda change the way you report progress... Like, you can now say "Thor has only had x accidents over the last y days, and he's had zero accidents at all over the last z consecutive days!" And if you want, you could throw how 'close' he was when he had those accidents. That's what I'd do anyhow, lol. A little potty algebra, whoohoo.

Nikko has only had two accidents in about a month and a half, and he's ONE DAY AWAY from having made it a full 30 consecutive days with no accidents! Tomorrow will also mark 7 days since his neuter, and he can finally stop wearing the onesies and feel free to lick his junk again. He's a happy doggie, and we're feeling like pretty happy parents right now too. :-)

I really have no right to be complaining, but one thing that's driving me nuts is his obsessive need to be outside all the time. Here lately, we've been just leaving the door to his fenced potty zone open during the day while it's warm, or else we'd be going to open the door for him every two minutes. I wish we had a sliding glass door, so we could get a cool doggie door for him... hm. I've even had thoughts about forefiting my rental deposit so we can cut a hole in the regular door and put an old-fashioned doggie door in it, lol. He's just not satisfied unless he is constantly able to go outside, then back in, then back out, then back in, all the time. Even at night when it's cold, he wants to go out, then he immediately realizes it's freakin' cold and he doesn't actually have to pee, so he scratches at the door to come back in.
