From what I have read online (ive been researching it since we found him) and heard from the breeder he just will have a shorter/thinner coat than other yorkies (the short version).
What are your honest thoughts. We had planned to keep our yorkie in the puppy cut anyhow, so the less hair thing really isnt spooking us. Are there other things I should look for when examining the puppy?
Thanks in advance~

He should make a very good pet, just like any other Yorkie. Hopefully the breeder has a good health guarantee(nothing to do with his color)on the puppy and stands behind her puppies. Look at how he acts around you and his siblings. Is he shy or is he Mr. Fearless? You want an out-going puppy!
does he like to play with toys? Look for any discharge coming from eyes or nose. Is he well groomed and will you get to see his parents? Are they good representatives of the breed? How much does the breeder know about Yorkies? Does the health guarantee include Legge Perthes, Liver Shunt, Collapsing Trachea, Open Fontenell or Slipping Patellas? If the breeder doesnt know what these are, you might look somewhere else.
These are things some I look for in a puppy. Hope he turns out to be "the one" for you!!
