I feel for you, I've worn glasses for many years and they are very expensive. I did have eye insurance where I worked till I was laid off. Even with my insurance it was around the amount your husband paid for his glasses. I've always gotten my perscription sunglasses at the same time I've gotten my everyday glasses. But the way the economy is right now, I can understand you wanting to try & find a more inexpensive place.
