I watched her on Dr. Phil today and I thought she was wishy washy in her comments. She said the money would all go in trust, but then she said she calculated how much was being offered and it would last her 10 months. She said "no" she wouldn't do a reality show and then she said "no, not now, maybe later"
I'm relieved the children are going to get help, we know they will need it. I just wonder if this organization really will have the kind of money in donations to continue for very long. Especially with charitable contributions taking a hit with the new stimulus package, I would expect people will be donating less.
I was disappointed in Dr. Phil defending the 911 call. I understand a parent being frantic if their child is missing, but look at the facts. This child had been missing for an HOUR, a 5 or 6 yr old child, she had no idea what he was wearing. She kept saying she was going crazy and going to kill herself over and over with another child right next to her. Clearly handling stress doesn't seem to be her strong suit and now add 8 more into the mix! I know he's trying to help the children, but I just feel like he made excuses for her and that's not really helpful, IMO, to do that!
