My mom did this too. She would drop, go back up, drop, go back up. It was nerve racking. The day before she went into labor, she got where she would just lay there and not do anything. She was still eating and drinking right until she gave birth. And then she vomited everywhere. Her temp dropped to 98.1 and instantly started going back up. It was 99.7 when she finally gave birth.
