I have boarded my boys several times over the years. Absolutely visit where you are considering. Ask questions and if they will not let you in any part of the facility - run fast! If you look at the AKC website, they have a section on boarding facilities by state that are AKC approved. I also agree with other posters, do at least one trial run for a night or two.
