I board SophieKate about once a month since I am required to travel for my job so she is an old pro at the boarding game.
SophieKate is only 9 months old, I have boarded her since she was 3 months. At my Vets recommendation I always board her with them (I love my Vet and the Techs).
SophieKate is always excited to go, she will trot right up to the door and gives Jenna the receptionist a big old kiss. With that said she is always happy to be home and snuggling with her kitty (who she also gives a big old kiss).
SophieKate usually looks a little thinner when I get her home but she is a skinny little thing normally. I always take her food for her and a schedule for her treats and her comfort item (a pink loofah dog).
As far as crate behavior, Sophie spend very little time in the crate at the Vets office, Jenna the receptionist will usually enlist her as her assistant or one of the Vet Tech will be hauling her around. With that said SophieKate loves hanging out in her crate, she is in right now taking a nap - it is more like her club house (only thing missing is her Jonas Brothers poster).
