It seems that way all over America.... those who try to do the right thing and be responsible people end up getting screwed while those who are stupid/irresponsible get things handed to them. I see this with where I live and going to college.... how I work hard, own a house and have no kids and pay FULL price with NO help to go to college (even though I don't make a ton of money) yet I see girls who have 3 kids at 18 years old, not married, living on welfare and getting FREE education.
Its soooo frustrating! It teaches our future generations such BAD lessons. I am not looking for handouts, Im looking for handouts to stop being handed out to those who do not deserve them.
Not to mention I need to refinance my house, and cannot do it because I do not have $18,000 in the bank to do it, but I can afford a 30 year fixed mortgage payment on my own... yet she can get a FREE house??? Ive never defaulted on ANY loans, never mind a mortgage!
