Your roommate sounds like he has shades of pathological liar going on. He sent his dogs away for 4 months to be trained? That's b.s. if I've ever heard it (and I'm a lawyer, so I hear A LOT of b.s.). He lied about having to change. At most, he changed his shoes. Now it seems he's trying to lie and impersonate the rental company by posting a fake notice.
Be careful with this guy. People who lie like that are often capable of a lot more.
