A few of you may remember Sugar our golden retriever having health issues a few months ago. (She had a tumor behind her right eye, and the eye had to be removed.) This past weekend she was having trouble breathing, and I took her to the vet Saturday. They wanted to see her again Monday. I took her back for x-rays, and she has a huge tumor in front of her heart, the cancer has spread. We, are going to make her time with us the best we can for her, but there is nothing medically that can be done. She is almost 11 and she has been the best dog with our kids. We haven't told the kids yet (19,17 and 13), and we plan on it when oldest son is in from WVU for college break starting on Saturday. We will not let Sugar suffer, and we will make sure she has the best quality of life, and for now the pain meds are helping. When she quits eating or drinking, then we will know it is time for her to leave us.

Brady our yorkie who is 1 will also have a hard time for losing his surogate mommy, since she has been that to him since we got him. Please keep all of us in your prayers. Thanks, Sheri
