I picked up Alfie today from a week and a half of being boarded at the vet's while I was out of town. He's a little bit skinnier than he was, but that's normal after being boarded I heard. He's eating/going potty normally now however so I'm not concerned.
Alfie has always been a huge crier when I left. His separation anxiety is so bad. I assumed he was going to cry as usual when I left to go to work today. I put him in his crate and left. I heard not a peep out of him. My roommate told me that he was silent for her as well. I'm shocked! I don't know how long this will last, but I thought boarding him for this long would make his anxiety even worse. He seems the calmest he has ever been. Does boarding your pups do this to them usually? I'm hoping this lasts, because there is nothing worse than hearing my baby cry when I'm leaving. I'm not counting on it, but it would be nice
