Wondering if it is a teeth issue. I just learned that Yorkies usually start losing baby teeth between 5 and 7 months and by 10 months the permanent teeth should all be in. Sometime it could be very painfull. I would check his mouth to see if he has a double set of teeth anywhere. Usually when they have teeth problems, it affects their appetite and they have difficulty chewing and may be favoring one side of their mouth or the other for chewing. They usually let you know if they have any discomfort because it is painful for them.

Try a chicken soup or baby food or some soft food.
